Content Calendar

Ra, the sun god, creator of all things, reborn every morning.

A calendar that turns one idea into thirty posts.

One idea, thirty posts

Running out of things to say is rarely the problem. Saying each thing only once is. A single strong idea can carry a month of content if you turn it through different angles and formats. Your audience needs to meet the same idea many times before it sticks.

Your core idea for the month

The one belief I want my buyer to hold by the end of the month is…
"Your offer, not your ads, is why your ads do not work."

A good core idea is a belief your buyer must hold before they buy from you. If they believed it already, they would be closer to buying.

The angle grid

Six angles × five formats = thirty posts. Write one line per cell. You will not use every cell the same week, but you will never stare at a blank page.

Question

Worked example: one idea through six angles

Core idea: "Your offer, not your ads, is why your ads do not work."

  • Story: the campaign that failed with three agencies, then worked after one change to the guarantee.
  • Mistake: "You are testing 40 ad creatives on an offer nobody wants."
  • How-to: the three-question offer test to run before you spend another dollar.
  • Contrarian: "Better targeting will not save a weak offer."
  • Proof: side by side of the old offer and the new one, line by line.
  • Question: "How do I know if it is the offer or the ad?" answered in 60 seconds.

The 30 day calendar

Each week moves the reader one step: notice the problem, understand it, trust you, act. The last column is the call to action. Most posts ask for nothing or for a small action like a save; about one in five asks for a call.

Batch it in one afternoon a week

01

Write (60 minutes)

Write the seven posts for the week as plain text first, straight from the grid. Hook, three to five lines of body, call to action.

02

Record (45 minutes)

Film every short video in one sitting, same outfit and setup. Read the hook off a card, then talk. Two takes maximum.

03

Design (45 minutes)

Carousels from one saved template: cover slide with the hook, one point per slide, last slide with the call to action.

04

Schedule (15 minutes)

Load the week into your scheduler. Leave one slot open for something timely.
